Linda Peace is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the Louisiana LPC Board of Examiners, a National Certified Counselor, and a National Certified School Counselor. Linda provides individual, couples, family therapy, and specializes in school-based issues at her private practice. For the past 3 years, she has provided services in two locations Baton Rouge, LA and Prairieville, Louisiana.
With over 30 years experience as a Professional Counselor, Linda has specialized in working with youth and young adults. Continuing education and professional development in the areas of trauma, ADHD, Coping Skills, Death and Loss is primary! As a graduate of Southern University, school counselor and private practitioner, Linda has a very diverse background which provides optimal opportunity to serve todays’ youth and young adult population as well as a broad spectrum of adult clients.
In addition to being a prominent individual and group therapist, Linda presents at national and local conferences to general audiences on the topics such as: Bullying and Building Relationships; Trauma and ACES; Personal Goal Setting and The Real World as well as motivational topics for women and race relationships.
Linda is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively understand and address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
